Irans Revolutionary Guards

Iran's Revolutionary Guards committed to 'Death to America' In light of negotiations with US, conservative groups in Iran call for continued use of 'Death to America' as official slogan, celebrate anniversary of US Embassy hostage crisis AFP Published: 11.02.13, 17:55 / Israel News The Revolutionary Guards, the elite Iranian regime's army, said Saturday they are committed to the slogan "Death to America," chanted at official ceremonies, just days before the 34th anniversary of the storming of the American Embassy in Tehran. "The slogan Death to America is the symbol of strength and determination of the Iranian nation against the dominance of the United States, which is an oppressive and untrustworthy nation," said the Revolutionary Guards on their official website. In recent weeks, a debate was launched in Iran on the merits of continuing to chant "Death to America " during official ceremonies, while some relaxation occurred in relations between Tehran and Washington since the election in June of moderate President Hassan Rohani. Iran's Revolutionary Guards "Telephone espionage by the United States government against the people of other countries are proof that you can not trust the leadership of the White House", the military group said. The Revolutionary Guards is a military organization that was founded after the Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979, and is directly loyal to Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. It is made up of some 200,000 soldiers and its main role is to protect Iran's Islamic system. Hard-liners in Iran have unveiled two new "Death to America" songs at the former US Embassy in Tehran, hoping to keep anger high ahead of nuclear talks with Western powers. They performed the songs Saturday ahead of a planned massive protest Monday to mark the anniversary of the US Embassy takeover in 1979. Authorities pulled down dozens of anti-US banners and posters around Tehran last week.

Lebrons latest spot for nike

“Training Day” is the latest Nike Baketball spot featuring LeBron James, in support of his latest signature shoe, the LeBron XI. It features James leading a pack of kids on bicycles all around the city of Miami — to the arena to get some shots up, to the beach, and to the playground for some pickup hoops. From the official release: The campaign depicts the daily training regime that helps make James a champion. It also highlights how James’s passion and joy can inspire spectators to transform into active participants whenever he is around. In the film, James rides a bike through the streets of Miami, swims in the ocean, trains in the arena, jogs through alleys and plays impromptu hoops on a street court. Along the way, people of all ages see James’s training activity and can’t help but join in. Nike Basketball partnered with Wieden + Kennedy of Portland, Ore., to create the film, and worked with producer Mike WiLL Made-It for the track “My Shoes” and award-winning recording artist John Legend to score the spot. The campaign also encourage participants around the world to join James on his journey, and demonstrate how and where they #striveforgreatness. For more info please visit www.nike.com/lebron. James wears the “Miami Heat Away” colorway of his shoes in the gym by himself, and the “King’s Pride” version on the playground before giving them to his opponent. We’re going to be seeing a lot of this ad in November, as Nike has plans to run it on several networks nationally. Good thing it appears as though it’ll more than hold up over multiple viewings.

Signs In the Scripture

Many prophecy buffs use recent wars, famines, earthquakes, climate changes, etc., as proofs that we are in the end times. They cite the teachings of Jesus recorded in Matthew, Mark and Luke about the distress on earth just before His return and they use every recent disaster and current event on earth as proof that we are in the last days. I do not believe that a few more wars, earthquakes, or storms prove much other than that we continue to live in a fallen world. These claims have been going on for centuries and all this crying WOLF only gives prophecy teachers bad press. Jesus actually said that at the time in question, peoples heart's would be failing them because of all the things they see coming upon the earth! He really seems to be saying that when the conditions on earth get so bad that there is little hope for mankind's survival, then look up, for your redemption is near. The signs that Jesus gave us in the gospels actually correlate with the seal judgments in the book of Revelation and we are not yet in this time. However, there are indicators in the world that do tell us that we are nearing the end times. Much of this website is devoted to the many world and church indicators that correlate to show a clear trend toward our generation being the one that will see end time events. In addition to the obvious world trends that I have documented in this series, there are other more subtle signs found in the Bible that might indicate we are near end time events in the Bible. Subtle signs from the Bible for the end time generation: 1. In the book of Daniel it says that there will be a great increase in knowledge and transportation at the end time. Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Information is increasing today at an exponential rate and the computer is giving everyone access to all that information. Travel has become easy. 2. There is a scripture that talks about chariots jostling in the streets in the time when Jacob (Israel) is restored (autos with lights on). Nah 2:4 The chariots rage in the streets; they rush to and fro in the broad ways: the appearance of them is like torches; they run like the lightnings. 3. There are scriptures that could describe aircraft in the time of the day of Judgment. Jer 4:13 Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots [shall be] as the whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are ruined. Joe 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of the mountains do they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Isa 31:5 As birds hovering, so will Jehovah of hosts protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver [it], he will pass over and preserve [it]. Deu 28:49 Jehovah will bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; Jer 49:22 Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread out his wings against Bozrah: and the heart of the mighty men of Edom at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs. Hab 1:8 Their horses also are swifter than leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves; and their horsemen press proudly on: yea, their horsemen come from far; they fly as an eagle that hasteth to devour. Rev 12:14 And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness unto her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 4. There is a scripture that indicates that Noah's Ark may be found in the end times. 2 Pe 3:5 For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth compacted out of water and amidst water, by the word of God;. The search for Noah's Ark is ongoing and many think it is just a matter of years or months before some hard evidence is found for its existence. Even if found, some people will willfully forget the evidence because it does not fit their belief system. This is what I believe the above passage above refers to. 5. There are the scriptures that talk about the alignments of nations against Israel in the last days. These same alignments are seen in the world today. Psalms 83:4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. 5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: 6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; 7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah. 9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: 10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. 11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: 12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession. 13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. 14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire; 15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm. 16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD. 17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: 18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth. Ezekiel 38: And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: 4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: 5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: 6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. 7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. 8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. 9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. 10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: 11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, 12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. 13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? 14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? 15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: 16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. 17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? 18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. 19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; 20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. 21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. 22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD. Ezekiel 39:1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: 2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: 3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. 4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. 6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. 7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. Zec 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. 4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God. 6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. 7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. 8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. 11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

How to Go To Heaven

It is very simple to be saved and takes only a minute to explain. Please let me show you how to get to Heaven from the Bible, God's Word... Man is a sinner. Isaiah 53:6, “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Romans 3:10, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” There is a price on our sin―eternal death in Hell. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:12, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” 2nd Thessalonians 1:8, “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Revelation 20:15, "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 21:8, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Jesus paid that price by dying on the cross and shedding His blood; Christ was buried and rose again! Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” 1st Timothy 1:15, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” 1st Peter 1:18-19, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ...” 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” By faith in Jesus Christ ALONE we can be saved. Salvation is NOT found in a religion or good works, but in a Person... The LORD JESUS CHRIST! John 11:25, “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” Mark 1:15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Acts 26:18, “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” 1st Corinthians 3:11, "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” Galatians 3:26, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” HERE IS HOW YOU CALL UPON THE LORD Do you admit that you are a GUILTY sinner, under the condemnation of God's LAW, deserving of Hellfire? Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God (God in the flesh) who died upon the cross, sacrificing His precious blood to pay for your sins? Do you believe that Jesus was buried and rose again three days later? That is the good news of the gospel... Jesus DIED, He was BURIED and He is RISEN! If you'd like to be saved, simply come in your heart as a guilty sinner and BELIEVE upon the Lord Jesus Christ. Perhaps you'd feel comfortable praying a sinner's prayer as did the publican in Luke 18:13... “And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto Heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.” Dear Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner deserving of Hell. I believe that you died, were buried and rose again. Please forgive me of my sins and take me to Heaven when I die. I now believe upon You alone, apart from all self-righteous works and religion, as my personal Savior. Thank you. Amen. Just as you were born physically to your parents, so you were born spiritually into the Family of God when you received Jesus! Please understand that we are not saved because we pray a prayer; but because we believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ. It is certainly appropriate to ask the Lord in prayer to forgive and save us; but it is our faith which prompts us to pray. You could just as easily believe in your heart upon the Lord to be saved, and not pray at all. Salvation is of the heart, as we read in Romans 10:10, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness...” It's not what you're doing that gets you to Heaven, it's where you're looking. Look to Jesus! You do NOT have to be water baptized nor doing anything to get to Heaven other than trust upon the Lord as your Savior. Romans 4:5 proclaims... “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him (Jesus) that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” What a wonderful truth! Our faith is COUNTED for righteousness! There is NO self-righteousness involved in salvation. It is the gift of God. You see, we have no righteousness of our own to offer God. No amount of good can undo the bad we've done. Thus, Jesus paid a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt that we could not pay. Salvation is receiving, not giving. We are Sinners and Jesus is the Savior. Jesus is precious! Unbelief is the only sin which can keep you out of Heaven. Just take God at His word and claim His salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, no lodge, no good works can save you. Remember, God does the saving. All of it! Trusting Jesus is meaningless without the cross. You must believe that Jesus died, was buried and rose again. 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 teaches that the gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. God's simple plan of salvation is: You are a sinner. Therefore, unless you believe on Jesus Who died in your place, you will spend eternity in Hell. If you believe on Him as your crucified, buried, and risen Savior, you receive forgiveness for all of your sins and His gift of eternal salvation by faith. You say, “Surely, it cannot be that simple!” Yes, that simple. It is scriptural; it is God's plan. My friend, believe on Jesus and receive Him as Savior today. If you've never been saved, then now is the time to believe upon the name of Jesus, the Christ, that your sins will be blotted out forever and you can know that your name is written in Heaven. Christ died for your sins. You are a sinner by nature and by choice. Jesus took your sins and charged them to His own record. He went to the cross and paid the penalty for your sins. He says if you're willing to receive Him in faith; He will transfer His payment to your debt, and His righteousness to your sins. He will impute to you His goodness, and impute to His own record your sin; if you in faith will trust Him as your Savior. Romans 8:34, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” If you would like to search for a good church where you live, CLICK HERE. Fried Chicken Recipes

Frying chicken, at its best, is a state of mind formed much in the same way as the quiet back beats of a porch-sitting session with a dear friend. It has a rhythm. It is good company on a sunny summer afternoon. It is pointless to rush. Futile, even. Besides, the comfort of a good friend comes from the effortlessness of meaningful conversation and is further heightened by the knowledge you have nothing you would rather do.

Millenials Are Growing Up

Millennials are maturing in some surprising ways. Their work ethic is stronger than most believe. They are more aware of what it takes to build a nest egg than other generations, and they’ve done a decent job getting diversified. But the Facebook generation is taking too many wrong financial cues from one another, a new survey shows. Three in four 25-to-34 year olds (a group that includes older Millennials and younger Gen X members) look first to their peers for money guidance, according to the survey from the American Institute of CPAs and the Ad Council. To get young people’s attention, the Ad Council and financial website Feed the Pig just released a series of humorous public service advertisements about saving. (MORE: The Fee-Crazed Airline Travelers Love to Hate Keeps Piling Up Profits) Millennials came of age during a time of financial crisis, bank failures, and a personal bankruptcy and foreclosure boom. One result is a deep lack of trust in financial institutions. So it’s no shock that the group leans on social media for guidance about money, as it does for everything from what movies to see to what news to follow. Two in three wants to keep pace with peers on where they live and what they wear, and the types of places they eat and the gadgets they carry. But Millennials aren’t just trying to keep up with the Joneses; in many cases they are willing to sink to peer levels even though they may have greater ability to, say, save for retirement or retire student debt. Peers have never been a great source of financial information for any generation, and along with those surprising positives noted above this one also has some serious flaws. According to the AICPA: 61% of 25-to-34 year-olds need family money to make ends meet, and more than half say the need will persist for at least another year; 8% say it will persist at least another five years. 45% use a credit card for necessities, and 70% define financial stability as being able to pay all bills on time. A bill collector has contacted 28% in the last 12 months. 24% have missed a credit card or other debt payment in the last 12 months. “As the saying goes: Be careful about the company you keep,” Ernie Almonte, chair of the AICPA National Financial Literacy Commission, says in a release. “Many young adults are building financial foundations with the wrong blueprints.” (MORE: Gas Prices Are Cheapest They’ve Been All Year—And Getting Cheaper) This is an age group that must begin saving now. The social safety net is fraying; pension and Social Security benefits are eroding. The one advantage that young people enjoy is time—40 years to earn, save and let their investments compound. An extra 10 years of growth can be the difference between a $1 million and a $2 million nest egg at age 70. If they are taking their cues from peers who never miss an iPhone upgrade but have boomeranged home with Mom and Dad, they are headed the wrong direction. 10 signs you are in love

1. You can’t get enough cheesy love songs. I’m not saying that cheesy love songs don’t always have their place (I practically have Celine Dion’s entire catalog tattooed on my ribcage), but there is a point at which even the most bubblegum-ready songs become the New Theme Song of Your Life. To put it in perspective, I once found myself on the brink of actual human tears while listening to “Hey There, Delilah,” which I proceeded to put on repeat for the next 45 minutes. To be fair, I was 18 and facing down the prospect of a long-distance relationship. But still, this kind of unacceptable insanity is only excused for those in the heady throes of love. 2. You find any reason to bring them up. While there are going to undoubtedly be legitimate occasions to bring up your beloved, you might want to think about why your brain suddenly seems to make no distinction between “this incredible person I’m in love with” and “literally everything else on the planet.” If your roommate is wondering what you guys should make for dinner, and she suggests lasagna, and you’re like “Oh my god, so-and-so just has the cutest cat. He was totally crawling around the living room when we were making out and watching movies last night. So-and-so is such a good kisser. And has such a cute cat. You know, a cat. Like Garfield. Who is also a cat. The cat that loves lasagna. I’m sorry — we can eat whatever,” chances are you may be thinking of them more than would be considered normal. 3. Everything they do seems cute and endearing. There will come a time when your beloved’s habits might start to err towards the irritating side, depending on how disruptive and frequent they are. It’s only natural. But for now, though, enjoy thinking that everything they do is just perfect and adorable — from the way they don’t replace the toilet paper roll, to the way they take one single fork out of the dishwasher to use instead of emptying it, to the way they don’t cover their mouth when they cough. Scoop up all those precious germs, wouldn’t want to miss a drop of their intoxicating goodness. 4. You find yourself fantasizing about a life together. If, at a certain point while looking for a toothbrush holder at Bed, Bath and Beyond, you find yourself utterly paralyzed in front of a set of matching hand towels, overwhelmed with the thought of sharing a home with this person you can’t get enough of — you could very well be in love. If this fantasy extends to the kind of pet you’d like, what you would call your children, and the compulsion to write your married names all over a sheet of looseleaf — you are pressed like a fresh panini. Embrace it. 5. The only thing that matters is being with them. Not that there isn’t a lot to be said for intricate or adventurous outings, but one of the truer signs of love is the utter indifference towards what you are you actually doing, so long as you are with your dearest. The two of you, in fact, are more than content to spend an entire afternoon lying in bed naked, telling each other what you like about each other and generally being vomit-inducing to everyone who is not you. Outside of your little world, nothing exists — just remember to eat at least semi-regular meals in between all of your butterfly kisses. 6. You begin to retreat from society. It’s not that your friends aren’t awesome, because they totally are. It’s just that, for at least a few weeks, you are going to just fall off the face of the planet because nothing — not even President Obama riding up on a jet ski on a tidal wave of Corona ready to bring you to the beach party hosted by a naked Ryan Gosling — is as interesting or as engaging as being with your beloved. You’ll get back to them, it’s cool. 7. You are constantly denying being in love. It’s not that we don’t believe you, love, it’s just that, if your response to “Hey did you hang out with so-and-so this weekend?” is “WILL YOU SHUT THE HELL UP NANCY DREW I DON’T LOVE HIM OKAY GET OFF MY BACK JESUS,” welp… 8. All of a sudden, you’re a poet. There is an unspoken but universal law which states that any vaguely emotional blogging, Tweeting, status updating, or other forms of mass communication performed while in the heady throes of infatuation are not to be held against you. If you are up late one night and publish something along the lines of “You are the waves crashing against the sands of my beach, a depth of blue that seemed impossible to my parched skin,” it’s okay. We won’t judge. Just remember to make them private once you come to your senses. 9. You constantly feel like the words are going to slip out of your mouth. It’s an understandable fear that, at some uncertain point, you are going to see your beloved smile in a particular way while wiping a bit of ice cream from your lip while out at lunch and respond by literally exploding into a million pieces of confetti while screaming “I LOVE YOU.” We all know what that feels like. But it’s better to accept that it is how you feel and set to finding a good way to express this, rather than suppressing it like some volcano of terrifying levels of emotion, only to erupt at some unknown moment all over the both of you. 10. Everything seems unreasonably fun and happy. Have you ever noticed how beautiful flowers are? How about how cute little kis are? And that couple making out over there — good for them! They know what’s up! Oh, my god, let’s get some candy! Candy comes in so many beautiful, bright colors. Everything is just so perfect. It’s not too hot, not too cold. Let’s go for a walk. I don’t care where we go. Let’s just hang out. Or maybe we’ll cuddle under a blanket. I love blankets. Let’s knit a blanket with our initials in it. Oh, my god, an adorable old couple holding hands! DYINGGGGGG. TC mark
